This post was initially meant as a anime review post on Romeo x Juliet, however I was unsuccessful in uncovering my writing skills, thus that post is currently incomplete. Hopefully I get the spark that I wanted to add to the post by Sunday, then I'll put it up. Wondering why RxJ out of the blues? Yesterday was Valentine's Day as everyone would know, and since I was off work early, I decided to do a RxJ marathon to further stab myself in the heart. I know it's not healthy, but I tend to want to watch sad shows/animes/movies whenever I'm feeling down.

Along the same lines of reviews, I got a few others which I'm in the works for too. However I don't intend to do reviews of animes that are still currently being shown, as I'm sure many other anime blogs are already covering though, thus I'll only be working on the completed ones. I also currently have manga series and Jdramas on plan, so look out for those too.

I was asked this question about 3 weeks back from a female colleague in camp, and somehow I just thought of it again today due to the mood I was going through after marathon-ing RxJ. That day I wasn't in the best of moods, as mentioned previously in this post, and I'm sure my face shows it. So came this colleague of mine, and she asked why I look so down, in which I replied that I was having mood swings, in turn came the question "Eh? Guys also got mood swings ar?". What I felt at that moment was a sense of stupidity, where I just wanted to smack myself in the head and go "Yeah, I'm just having a period." However, I just faintly smiled back, and explained in detail that at times guys too have mood swings/emotions, before I took my leave and walked off.

This time let me ask my readers, "Should guys be allowed to have mood swings? Or is it just entitled for ladies?" I'm sure we guys don't have that time of the month like the ladies too, but we still do have emotions ain't it? I don't understand why the other sex (or just her) doesn't believe we should have them. I've added a poll (testing the poll system at the same time too) on the side to see what everyone thinks about it, don't feel shy to leave a comment too.

I do believe that most of my readers are either my real-life friends (I know Cal beat me to posting this video first) and people who chanced upon this blog from dannychoo.com, but because this is just too cute that I still want to post it. Enjoy ^^. Signing out.

Valentine's Day.

Happy Valentine's Day to all!! Lucky Star Style ^^.

As everyone should know today is Valentine's Day, one of the days in a year where a big fat hole gets created in the guy's wallet. I definitely would prefer the Japanese version of Valentine's Day, where the girl gives chocolate to the guy, then the guy would return the favour on White Day (14 March), rather than "our" version where the guy usually foots/plans everything. Either way I'm once again going to spend this day as per any other normal day because: 1. I got to go camp and work, 2. I don't have a girlfriend ><.

Room Status.

To many, I'm sure this kind of room would just draw lots of blank looks on people's faces. In fact I already had quite a bit of "feedback" from others over it, mostly negative? I don't know...maybe people would find it more "normal" if I had Playboy poster girls hanged around the room? I enjoy both 2D and 3D, but still....2D is alot cuter? I'm sure those who had "negative feedbacks" doesn't know the concept of moe~ ^^.

Thinking back about half a year ago, I wouldn't had dream of "decorating" my room in this concept. However with the opportunity, where my parents had the whole house repainted, and deciding to dump my old room gloomy look (dark blue layout), I had the room repainted pale orange, and also decided to "decorate" it. As compared to my old room, I'm really loving this now, as it brings out a more refreshing, brightful, cheerful feeling whenever I'm in the room.

Manga that I had bought in Japan but didn't post it in the
previous loot post as I forgot about it. Just posting it up now.

This year's Chinese New Year didn't yield in as much as the previous years. It's either because when you're older they give less, or the fact that inflation and the prospect of a possible recession is forcing everyone to have a tighter grip of their wallets. Either way the money from CNY would go towards the Japan II trip I'm planning for end of this year, since already received permission to go again, on the context that I come out the whole funding for it myself (I requested for this condition).

The previous trip had some help from parents (about 30-40% of it?), but I want to earn this trip totally on myself. Definitely a much cheaper trip (est. S$1,700)than the previous (about S$7,300), but it's still an amount to fathom, once you include in the spending on anime goods lol (extra S$1,500?). Currently, I'm only about 20% sure this trip would go through, looking at the economy and the amount that I would be able to raise by then, without touching the money set aside for other stuff. Will need to find a cheap air-ticket too, as that would be the biggest sole cost of the trip, hoping to find one in the S$600 - S$700 range. If only there were budget airlines to Tokyo ><. I guess that's about it for now, the next post should be a review (I had only done 1 so far!!), so until then... Signing out.

Wishing all my readers a Happy Chinese New Year!! Sad to say I couldn't take photos of my room yet due to cleaning up the house. How my glass cabinet looks like currently.The nicest part of my room currently (my opinion). I like how you can see through to the manga and at the same time enjoy the sights of the Da Capo II posters.Not much manga, but no money to buy more neither, though I really want to. Also notice the poor Freedom and Justice up there. Eventually when I need more space they will have to go. There's no room for mecha in a room full of moe~!! Also have a Providence and Archangel Model Kit which I have yet to touch since buying them from their release date (yes it's been a long time). Doubt they'll be seeing any action in the future neither. It may be a good time to give them away as presents to my Gundam Seed crazy younger cousins.As mentioned in a previous post, I dropped by KKnM yesterday (020208) evening to grab a copy of the G's Festival Vol.11 Fortune Arterial Special.The Shiro Dakimakura is too cute!! Though I wished they had added a zip at the bottom of the dakimakura so that the cover wouldn't easily come out when in use. Quality wise, not as good as the Noumi one, but what can one expect from a much cheaper version? 9,450 yen for the Cospa Noumi VS 2,200 yen for the magazine + freebies which includes this dakimakura.The remaining bags from Comiket which will not be left hanging around the room as I don't know where to arrange them at. Will be keeping them stored elsewhere. A photo just to show they exist. The remaining bags will be seen when I take photos of my room after I arrange everything and clean things up in preparation for Chinese New Year.Location where my MEGAMI and Dengeki Hime are stored. only started collecting them from 2007 October onwards.First 12 months buying of MEGAMI which I collected monthly from KKnM last time. However instead of buying from KKnM, mine is directly imported from Japan by J-list, same as my Dengeki Hime. Still collecting them till today.More MEGAMI and also MEGAMI Deluxe Vols.

That's about all my loots from Japan and my magazine "library". Not in the photos but are also loots from Japan were my Gurren Lagann and Shakugan no Shana's Torch T-shirts as they are currently in wash. Wore the GL one to KKnM yesterday and the Torch one to church today. Loving those shirts ^^.

Next 2 days would be spent doing up the room and cleaning up, so I doubt I be doing any updates (I'm also rewatching Gurren Lagann at the same time LOL). Hopefully will get those photos of the room up by CNY Eve night. Until then, Enjoy and Signing out.
